2026 ADSO Event | Exciting Things Ahead

The 2026 ADSO Summit was an incredible opportunity for our team at LADD Dental Group to learn from some of the brightest minds in dentistry, healthcare, finance, and business leadership. Events like ADSO continue to remind us how rapidly our industry is evolving and how important it is to stay engaged with new ideas, emerging trends, and innovative solutions that can ultimately benefit the patients and communities we serve.

Throughout the conference, we had the opportunity to take in a tremendous amount of information from industry leaders who shared valuable insights on everything from practice operations and patient experience to technology, workforce development, and the future of dental organizations. As a provider-centric and patient-focused dental group, we are always looking for ways to improve and strengthen our organization, and ADSO delivered no shortage of great ideas.

One of the highlights of the event was connecting with several outstanding professionals who are helping shape the future of healthcare and dental services. We were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Tom Creegan of Raymond James, whose perspectives on the healthcare marketplace and broader economic environment provided valuable context for the opportunities and challenges facing dental organizations today.

We also enjoyed meeting Ajeya Shekar and Chris Schlesinger of Provident Healthcare Partners. Their knowledge of the dental industry, healthcare transactions, and organizational growth made for some excellent conversations. It's always beneficial to connect with professionals who have a deep understanding of the unique dynamics impacting independent practices, dental groups, and the evolving healthcare landscape.

Another memorable moment from the conference was spending time with Dr. Avi Patel, host of The Doctor Avi Show podcast. Dr. Patel has built a fantastic platform that brings together healthcare leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss important topics shaping the future of patient care and healthcare delivery.

We had an incredibly enjoyable conversation with Dr. Avi and are excited about the opportunity to continue that discussion. There were plenty of insights shared, a few laughs along the way, and some exciting topics that we look forward to exploring further.

Stay tuned—there's more to come!

Most importantly, events like ADSO reinforce why we remain so passionate about what we do. The dental industry continues to evolve, but our mission remains unchanged: providing exceptional dental care while serving Indiana families with compassion, integrity, and a long-term commitment to our communities.

We returned from ADSO energized, inspired, and grateful for the relationships we've built and the new connections we've made. Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us, share ideas, and contribute to the conversations that are helping move dentistry forward.

We look forward to putting what we've learned into action and continuing to grow as we serve the patients and communities that place their trust in LADD Dental Group every day.

Here's to continued learning, meaningful partnerships, and an exciting future for dentistry. 🦷✨

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
