One Ball State Day | Grateful Almuni

One Ball State Day is a special time each year where the entire Ball State community comes together for a shared purpose—to give back. It’s a 24-hour celebration of Cardinal pride, where alumni, students, and supporters unite to invest in the programs and people that make Ball State so impactful.

It’s more than just fundraising—it’s about gratitude, connection, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference.

Why We Support Coach Bill Richards and Ball State Men’s Tennis Program

The Ball State Men’s Tennis Program, led by Coach Bill Richards, played a significant role in shaping who I am today. The lessons learned through that program went far beyond the court—discipline, accountability, resilience, and the importance of being part of a team working toward something bigger than yourself.

Coach Richards has built more than just a competitive tennis program—he’s built a culture that develops strong individuals and future leaders. That kind of impact lasts a lifetime.

Giving Back with Gratitude

We are incredibly grateful—and truly blessed—to be in a position where we can give back to a program that gave so much to us.

Supporting Ball State Men’s Tennis is our way of ensuring that current and future student-athletes have access to the same opportunities, mentorship, and experiences that made such a difference in our lives.

Being Part of Something Bigger

One Ball State Day reminds us that even small acts of generosity can add up to something powerful. Together, we can continue to strengthen programs like Men’s Tennis and invest in the next generation.

We’re proud to support Coach Richards, this program, and the university that helped shape our journey.

And for that, we are incredibly grateful.

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
