New Dental Patient | First Dental Appointment
If you are a new dental patient, or haven't been to the dentist in a number of years, I wanted to take the time and walk you through what a new patient exam looks like with LADD Dental Group! The dentist doesn't have to be scary, and in today's blog, we will walk you through the whole new patient process!!
The first thing that we will do after you have completed all of your paperwork and health history information is take some X-Rays! At Ladd Dental Group, we utilize digital X-Rays because it is better for both the patients and our dentists!
After X-Rays are taken, we will take note of your blood pressure, review health history, perform perio charting and update all of the patients dental chart notes that are needed! From there, our dentist will sit down with you and provide a comprehensive exam. Our dentists will do a complete evaluation of your entire mouth, including an oral cancer screen.
