New Dental Patient | First Dental Appointment

New Dental Patient | First Dental Appointment

If you are a new dental patient, or haven't been to the dentist in a number of years, I wanted to take the time and walk you through what a new patient exam looks like with LADD Dental Group! The dentist doesn't have to be scary, and in today's blog, we will walk you through the whole new patient process!!

The first thing that we will do after you have completed all of your paperwork and health history information is take some X-Rays! At Ladd Dental Group, we utilize digital X-Rays because it is better for both the patients and our dentists

After X-Rays are taken, we will take note of your blood pressure, review health history, perform perio charting and update all of the patients dental chart notes that are needed! From there, our dentist will sit down with you and provide a comprehensive exam. Our dentists will do a complete evaluation of your entire mouth, including an oral cancer screen. In the video below, you will see an example of one of our dentists in McCordsville using an intra-oral camera with their patient!

After the comprehensive exam has taken place, our dentists will then come up with a treatment plan for their patients that best fits their individual life style!

If you are looking for a new dentist in your area, give our LADD Dental Group offices a call today at 765-455-005, and experience the difference!

The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
