Dental Anxiety?! | We Can Help

At LADD Dental Group, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for every patient who walks through our doors. We understand that for many, a visit to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience. Dental anxiety is real, and it’s something we take seriously. That’s why we feel incredibly fortunate to have an exceptional member of our team who makes a world of difference: our beloved office dog.

Our furry friend has quickly become a favorite among patients and staff alike. But beyond the tail wags and adorable antics, our office dog serves an important purpose—providing comfort and reassurance to those who need it most.

A Soothing Presence in the Dental Chair

For patients with extreme dental anxiety, even routine cleanings can be stressful. Our office dog offers a soothing presence that helps to ease nerves. Whether it’s a gentle nuzzle, a paw placed on your lap, or simply lying nearby during your appointment, this comforting companion helps create a sense of calm that allows our patients to focus on their oral health without fear.

Building Connections and Trust

One of the greatest benefits of having an office dog is the ability to build stronger connections with our patients. For those who might feel hesitant or uneasy, interacting with our dog often becomes a turning point. It’s amazing to see patients walk in with visible anxiety and leave with a smile, thanks in part to the unconditional love and support provided by our four-legged team member. Please request our office dog when you are setting up your dental appointment to ensure that she is able to attend the appointment.

Creating a Positive Dental Experience

Our goal at LADD Dental Group is to redefine what a trip to the dentist feels like. We want our patients to feel cared for and supported, not just during their procedures but throughout their entire visit. Our office dog is an integral part of achieving this mission, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our practice and our patients. Please request our office dog when you are setting up your dental appointment to ensure that she is able to attend the appointment.

A Thank You to Our Patients

We’d also like to express our gratitude to you, our wonderful patients, for embracing this unique addition to our team. Seeing your smiles and hearing your kind words about how much our office dog has helped means the world to us. Your feedback inspires us to continue finding innovative ways to make your dental experience as pleasant as possible.

If you or someone you know struggles with dental anxiety, we invite you to visit our office and meet our amazing canine companion. Together, we can make dental visits something to look forward to, one wagging tail at a time.

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
