Working with Private Equity | Grateful for our Relationship with Lead Capital

As we look back on our almost 50 years of service here at LADD Dental Group, it’s hard not to feel immense gratitude for the incredible partnerships that have shaped our growth and success. One partnership, in particular, has been pivotal: our collaboration with Lead Capital. Partnering with a private equity (PE) group was a significant step for us, and we are thrilled to say it has been a truly positive experience.

Choosing the Right Partner

Private equity partnerships are not one-size-fits-all. For us, entering into a PE relationship was a decision we approached with the utmost care. We were deliberate in selecting a group that shared our vision for the future. From the outset, it was clear that Lead Capital wasn’t just interested in numbers; they were committed to understanding our values, mission, and goals.

We sought a partner who would not only provide financial support but also align with our culture of patient-first care, community involvement, and a long term perspective. Lead Capital exceeded these expectations, proving to be more than just an investor – they became a trusted collaborator.

Shared Vision and Values

What made Lead Capital stand out was their genuine interest in preserving what makes LADD Dental Group special. They understood the importance of maintaining our family-oriented culture, the quality of dental care we deliver, and our dedication to innovation in dentistry. From the beginning, their team demonstrated a deep respect for our history and a shared enthusiasm for where we could go together.

This alignment of values has been a cornerstone of our partnership. By working with a PE group that believes in our vision, we’ve been able to focus on what we do best: providing top-notch dental care to our patients and giving back to the communities we serve.

The Benefits of Partnership

The benefits of partnering with Lead Capital have been manifold. Their strategic guidance has helped us make informed decisions, seize growth opportunities, and improve operational efficiencies. With their support, we’ve been able to expand our reach, modernize our facilities, and invest in cutting-edge technologies like Overjet AI and A-dec equipment.

Additionally, their expertise in scaling businesses has allowed us to acquire three dental practices and bring on talented professionals, ensuring we’re meeting the needs of an ever-growing patient base. This partnership has empowered us to take bold steps while staying true to our roots.

Reflecting on the Journey

Looking back, we couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to partner with Lead Capital. Their commitment to our shared vision has reinforced our belief that private equity, when approached thoughtfully and selectively, can be a powerful catalyst for growth.

To those considering a PE partnership, we encourage you to be intentional in your selection process. Seek out a group that understands and respects your unique identity and goals. For us, the alignment with Lead Capital was not only a strategic decision but a partnership built on trust and mutual respect.

Looking Ahead

As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain excited about what the future holds. Our partnership with Lead Capital has given us the tools and confidence to dream bigger than ever before. Together, we’re building a legacy of exceptional dental care and unwavering commitment to our communities.

To our partners at Lead Capital, thank you for believing in us and for joining us on this journey. We are grateful for the collaboration, guidance, and shared vision that have made this partnership so rewarding.

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
