Initial Dental Appointment

For some patients, there is a lot of dental anxiety regarding a new patient dental appointment. That is why we wanted to put together some visual information that highlights what a new patient visit looks like here at LADD Dental Group. In our 45 years of dental service, we have picked up a few pointers that allow us to provide our patients with a relax initial dental appointment.  

You can expect at your initial dental appointment is a full exam of your teeth, jaws, bite, gums, and oral tissues to check the growth and development. A teeth cleaning might take place if needed and is the adequate type of dental cleaning, followed by polishing teeth and removing plaque, tartar and stains. The dentist may review and discuss oral health habits and demonstrate how to properly care and maintain for dentition. As you can see, the initial dental exam is a very relaxed appointment and it allows us to come up with a comprehensive treatment plan to fit our patients needs.  We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Steven Mah , our newest addition to the LADD Dental Group family. Dr. Mah was born and raised in Evansville, IN, where his passion for helping others began.
