Dental Practice Ownership | Dental Support Organizations

Dental Practice Ownership | Dental Support Organizations

Dental practice ownership and the overall dental profession have evolved in a massive way over these past 20 years. With the rise of DSO's and multi-location group practices, the dental profession is quickly changing. The DSO segment of the dental industry is the fastest growing model in dentistry, and they currently make up over 10% of all dental offices in the US.

With the difficulties in the supply chain, labor market, constantly changing technology, and overall inflationary pressures, it has never been harder to operate a business. Having to manage all of those moving parts, while having your primary focus be on patients and patient care, there simply is not enough time in the day to do all that is required. Because of these factors, I personally believe the DSO segment is going to massive expand in these next ten years, and the Dental Support Organizations that do it right way, will be able to find some incredible dental partners to affiliate with.

Our goal here at LADD Dental Group is to partner with the best people and providers to create healthy professional environments to serve our communities. Here at LADD Dental Group, we have been proudly serving North Central Indiana since 1978, and we are looking forward to expanding our current services to even more Central Indiana families.

Stay tune for a lot more information to come on where we think the dental profession is headed, and how we at LADD Dental Group are looking to partner and expand moving forward.

Ps- Take a look at a few of these funny video takes on what dental practice ownership entails, and let me know your overall thoughts:

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
