There is something incredibly special about welcoming a new dentist into the LADD Dental Group family—and even more special when that dentist brings such a talented, positive, and compassionate team along with him.

This month, we are thrilled to celebrate the one-month anniversary of Dr. Bala Sankuratri, DDS, MPH, BDS, and his remarkable dental team becoming part of LADD Dental Group! 🦷❤️

Dr. Bala has already made a tremendous impression on our organization, our patients, and the communities we are privileged to serve. He is currently caring for patients at our Kokomo and Peru locations, bringing an impressive combination of clinical knowledge, research experience, continuing education, and genuine compassion to every patient interaction.

More Than a Dentist

What has stood out most during this first month isn't simply Dr. Bala's impressive educational background—it's the way he approaches dentistry and the people around him.

Dr. Bala earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry after completing a Master of Public Health at The University of Texas at Arlington. During his dental education, he was recognized with honors including the Dean's Award for Research Excellence and the International College of Dentists USA Section Student Leadership Award.

He has also demonstrated a commitment to research and lifelong learning, including contributing to published dental research.

But credentials only tell part of the story.

The thing we appreciate most about Dr. Bala is his humility, gratitude, positive attitude, and genuine desire to take great care of people. Those qualities fit beautifully with the culture we are building at LADD Dental Group.

A Team That Makes a Difference

We also want to recognize the incredible dental team working alongside Dr. Bala.

Great dentistry is never the result of one person. It takes a team of dental assistants, hygienists, front-office professionals, and clinical leaders working together toward the same goal: creating a comfortable experience and providing excellent care for every patient who walks through the door.

During this first month, Dr. Bala and his team have already demonstrated the teamwork, professionalism, and patient-first mindset that we value so highly at LADD Dental Group.

That is what makes this milestone so exciting.

Continuing to Grow Together

One of the things we love most about LADD Dental Group is that we are constantly learning from one another.

Dr. Bala has already embraced that philosophy. He recently participated in advanced continuing education focused on surgical tooth extractions alongside Dr. Olsen Cottle, continuing his commitment to expanding his clinical skills and bringing that knowledge back to our patients.

That dedication to learning is exactly what we want for our providers.

Dentistry is constantly evolving, and our responsibility is to continue evolving with it. When our doctors invest in education, technology, collaboration, and clinical development, our patients ultimately benefit.
