Grateful for Indiana University School of Dentistry: A Legacy of Excellence

At LADD Dental Group, we are incredibly grateful for the relationship we have with Indiana University School of Dentistry and the impact this remarkable institution has had on dentistry throughout our state and beyond.

For our organization, that relationship is deeply personal.

Dr. John Ladd, the founder of LADD Dental Group, graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1977. He has always been incredibly proud to call IU School of Dentistry his alma mater and has remained a passionate supporter of the program throughout his career.

The education, mentorship, clinical training, and professional foundation Dr. Ladd received at IU helped shape the dentist and leader he would become. That foundation ultimately helped establish the values that have guided LADD Dental Group for decades: excellence in patient care, service to our communities, lifelong learning, and a commitment to developing the next generation of dental professionals.

Today, we are especially grateful that our relationship with IU School of Dentistry continues to grow. Through opportunities to connect with students, support the school, and participate in community-based initiatives, we are proud to help strengthen the connection between dental education and the communities we serve across North Central Indiana.

We believe some of the greatest opportunities in dentistry come from collaboration. Dental schools like IU School of Dentistry prepare talented future dentists, hygienists, and dental professionals to enter the profession with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a difference. Community practices then have the privilege of helping those professionals continue to learn, grow, and serve patients.

For LADD Dental Group, this relationship represents more than an academic connection. It represents legacy, mentorship, opportunity, and service.

Dr. Ladd's IU education helped lay the foundation for what would eventually become LADD Dental Group. Nearly five decades later, we are proud to continue building on that foundation while supporting the institution that played such an important role in his journey.

We are thankful for the faculty, students, alumni, and leadership at Indiana University School of Dentistry who continue to advance dental education and improve oral healthcare across Indiana.

From Dr. John Ladd's graduation in 1977 to the relationships we are building today, we are proud to be part of the IU dental family.
