My Heart is Full | Patients Like This Make All The Hard Work Worthwhile

At LADD Dental Group, there’s nothing more rewarding than being able to help our patients live pain-free, and today was one of those truly special days. We had the privilege of caring for one of the sweetest patients, who had been enduring severe dental pain. Seeing their relief after treatment was a reminder of why we do what we do.

When our patient walked through our doors, they were in visible discomfort, their smile dimmed by the weight of persistent pain. Our team quickly jumped into action, assessing their needs and crafting a treatment plan to bring them relief as soon as possible. With the gentle expertise of our dental team and the comforting environment we strive to provide, we were able to alleviate their pain and restore their smile.

The transformation was incredible—not just in their smile but in their spirit. The tension eased from their face, their shoulders relaxed, and for the first time in what felt like forever, they could laugh without wincing. That moment, when a patient looks at you with gratitude and joy, is one we cherish deeply.

This is why we’re here. Dentistry is more than just teeth—it’s about improving lives, bringing comfort, and restoring confidence. It’s about showing up for our patients with empathy, skill, and a commitment to their well-being. Today, our hearts are full knowing that we were able to make a real difference.

To our wonderful patients: Thank you for trusting us with your dental care. If you or a loved one are in pain, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always here to help you smile again!

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
