Proud to Support Huntington University | Community Minded Dentists

At LADD Dental Group, we take immense pride in supporting our local communities, and one of the partnerships that means the most to us is our involvement with Huntington University and their basketball program. As passionate advocates for both oral health and community engagement, we love being part of the Forester family and cheering on these incredible student-athletes.

Huntington University isn’t just a school—it’s the heart of the community. The university brings people together, fosters growth and learning, and instills values of hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. These same values align perfectly with what we believe in at LADD Dental Group. We’ve had the privilege of supporting the basketball program, and the energy, teamwork, and determination displayed by the players and coaching staff are truly inspiring.

One of the things we love most about Huntington University is the family atmosphere that surrounds the entire campus. Whether it’s game day at Platt Arena or community events throughout the year, the camaraderie and spirit of Forester Nation are second to none. The way the town rallies behind the team is something special, creating a sense of unity and pride that extends far beyond the court.

Our sponsorship of The Triple Shot Challenge at Huntington University basketball games has been an exciting way for us to connect with fans, students, and local dental families. It’s been amazing to see the enthusiasm and participation from the crowd, making game days even more memorable.

As we continue to support Huntington University, we remain committed to investing in the future of this community. Whether it's through athletics, academics, or overall wellness, we believe in the power of partnership and the impact it can have on shaping young lives.

So, here’s to another season of incredible moments, teamwork, and community pride. Go Foresters!

Dental Work | Importance of Routine Dental Care | Preventative Dental Care

Importance of Routine Dental Care  When I was in my 30s and a dentist told me I needed a few crowns , I decided to skip the expensive devices because of my meager paycheck. Besides, my teeth weren't hurting. Years later, I am paying the price in pain and costlier dental work . One of the damaged teeth that needed a crown distorted my bite, making a minor jaw-joint problem even worse. Unfortunately I'm far from alone. The price of dental care is steep for many people financially, physically and even socially, according to Marko Vujicic, chief economist and vice president of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association. Vujicic said that the  majority of emergency room dental visits  were for infections that could be handled in a dentist's office. Overall, emergency room dental visits cost $1.9 billion yearly, 40 percent of which is public money, according to his institute's analysis of data from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quali...
